Having gone way down the ortholinear and, with some, the 40% keyboard world, G20 ends up on all my keyboards. I try other profiles from time to time but they tend to only last a short time until I find myself refitting <insert keyboard> with G20 keycaps.
The flatness lends itself both functionally and aesthetically to ortholinear keycaps. If one keeps the keyboard case simple and/or nothing to resonate in it, with Kailh Box White switches, the thickness of the keycaps makes very quiet keyboards even with these clicky switches.
The slight concavity plus the rounded edges make them wonderful to type on and comfortable for ortho keyboard keys that end up being tapped by thumb sides. The slight front to back taper also lets me put on a thumb use row "upside down" for even more comfort.
I am ruined for life for all the others.
The best keycaps for a steno keyboard.

I use G20 keycaps for my stenomod keyboards. Their near flatness and width make it easy to press two at a time with the same finger, which is necessary in steno. Are the textured tops feel good and overall they look great.
PMK delivers. Fast.

Good consistency between keycaps. These are molded not too thin, but also not very thick... they’re just right! I really like the slight taper that the g20 profile offers. However, to my knowledge, homing keys are not available in this style. If they are, I’d love to pick up a pair! Delivery was crazy fast— they must have buckets of these ready to ship!

Pretty neat caps. They feel real soft and their height is perfect for lower profile builds.
