Got exactly what I expected.
Posted by Mark Carpenter on Oct 14th 2020
I can't see giving this anything less than 5 stars, seriously it's a grab bag, you're rolling the dice on what you're going to get. I didn't get anything epic, not a full set of alphas but I got enough SA keycaps to create a unique keyboard that I can't wait to finish and start showing off. Yea there were broken, and undershot keys or ones where the second shot bled through, and I got some keys with stems that I can't use but I did also get some neat unique keys. I'm a huge fan of the aerospace ones.
For the price and the sheer number of keys, I'd buy it again. Since I'm not into wasting material maybe the ones I can't use or have no interest in I'll make some ABS printer filament out of.

Sounded like fun.... But...
Posted by RingMast3r on Aug 15th 2019
I ordered this set hoping to put together a set of keys, but out of all the keys I was going to use, my set was missing a Z, D, and Y, for a complete set of alpha keys. I still have to go through all the flat keys, I am pretty sure that I can make a set out of those, but that is not what I was looking for.
It was fun trying it once, but I most likely will never do it again.

Silly and Amazing Fun
Posted by John on Jul 31st 2019
This is a really silly, fun way to get new caps. I got a bunch of SA, DSA and a few standard OEM (I think) I spent hours sorting through all these and found some really funny/cool ones. The ones that didn't quite print right are neat, although I got very few of those. Anyway it's a great way to make a suuuper unique keyboard that is customized just for you. If you haven't used SA caps before this is an easy way to try them (they are amazing). Is it worth it from the fact they are selling overstock they wouldn't normally sell... maybe? Is it worth it from the perspective of being really fun to sort through and choose a unique colorway? YES!

A Mixed Bag
Posted by ZUUL on Jul 29th 2019
It's definitely a grab bag. They must put all of the extras into a giant mixer and dump keycaps out 5 lbs at a time. You really do get a giant random mess. If you're looking/hoping for something specific, DO NOT get this. If you'd like a giant pile of caps to play with and nothing more, this is for you. I still have mixed emotions about getting these.
They could definitely eliminate the split, melted, and otherwise entirely unusable caps. Those shouldn't be part of the deal, but it's not a significant amount.
Now we need to setup a cap swapping forum.

Love the product, hate the shipping
Posted by Harrison Jenkins on Jul 26th 2019
The product is great. A lot of fun, possibly a bit pricey, but still so much fun to go through and add to your collection. The literal only actual problem I have with it is the shipping cost. It costs $22 to ship a $50 order and you can't order more than one bag per order. This has to change. I would be buying 4-5 of these bags each cycle if this shipping cost was not the case. Hope to see it change in the future.

This is definitely a silly thing but it's pretty fun
Posted by Kyle Epperson on May 17th 2019
Just got all the keys and it is a hefty bag of them. Got some fun ones, some blanks, and a bunch of random ones from different sets. Going through them is super fun and I'm looking forward to making a vomit board with them.

Well worth the money.
Posted by Isaac B. on Mar 16th 2019
I know not everyone will have the same experience as I did, but even if you don't it's well worth the price. For me, the total price was $70, about half the cost of an actual set. That's how I justified buying this. It comes with a ton of SA, DSA, and DCS profile keycaps. I ended up getting enough troubled minds keys of the right sculpt to cover my 60%, enough DCS to cover my 40% with almost all sculpted and legended. And I still have a large box full of keycaps to play with. I got about a half dozen unusable keys, where the stem didn't form correctly.
10/10 would recommend

Very cool! More than 700 keys!
Posted by HKA on Sep 20th 2018
Very cool! More than 700 keys! one-third DSA, one-third SA, one-third DCS. 60% blank keys, 40% printed. 80% 1u keys. 60% colored buttons; 40% white or black keys. Few, less than 20 keys, are not usable on a standard keyboard. There are some ALPS (less than 10). You will hardly be able to mount a keyboard with them, but they are complements in projects at very good cost.

A lot of keys! Almost all cherry stem.

Probably overpriced, but 3 lbs of caps is a crap ton of caps! Not too many of them were messed up. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to make some fun stuff with these caps! Pretty excited!

A lot of keys
Posted by Ryan on Jun 7th 2018
This was a lot more keys than I was expecting. I didnt know how much 4lbs of keys was. almost all keys ae useable, but there are a lot of blanks. I got a lot more SA, than any other profiles and most of them seemed to be blank R3 keys)flat, but totally useable. I was able to put together a vomit DSA keyset with only 1/3 or so being blanks. I had a more difiicult time trying to put together an SA set b/c they are different profiles per row.
